Madrid, Spain, February 25,  2020--HISPASAT, the Spanish satellite telecommunications operator, has sealed new agreements and contract renewals to provide dedicated satellite capacity to extend mobile networks in Latin America. In particular, the operator is consolidating its important role as a provider of these services in the Americas, where it offers connectivity to more than 2,400 base stations, distributed across the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, and Ecuador along with providing service for the first time to Chile and Colombia over the last few months.

Lorsch, Germany,  February 24, 2020--RF-Design, a leading manufacturer of RF distribution and RF-over-Fiber solutions for the global satellite communications industry, together with their local partner Wahsh Engineering and the German system integrator HILTRON has supplied their FiberLinkplus RF-over-Fiber system for a new TVRO downlink operation at the satellite ground station facilities of Nilesat in Giza/EGYPT.

Enabled by AMOS-17’s powerful KA-band HTS beams and extremely small terminals at both ends, the team created a small footprint, high capacity true tactical solution for deployed units.

Madrid, Spain, February 21, 2020--HISPASAT, the Spanish satellite telecommunications operator, has sealed an agreement with Claro Argentina, the leading mobile network operator in the Argentine market, to provide internet access to 250 rural communities throughout the country through a cellular backhaul service by satellite.

Kirkland, Quebec, Canada, February 20, 2020 – Advantech Wireless Technologies Inc.  has signed a sales and distribution agreement with the California and Watford, England based TXMission, a designer and manufacturer of high performance SmallSat modems for the New Space Industry.

February 18, 2020, Santa Clara, Calif.--Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced today, that during its second quarter of fiscal 2020, its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc., which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, received a contract valued at more than US$ 8.8 million for Ka-band Solid-State amplifiers to be used in an In-Flight Connectivity Satcom application.

Madrid, Spain, February 6, 2020--HISPASAT, the Spanish telecommunication satellite operator, has renewed its agreement with Fundación ATRESMEDIA once again this year to collaborate in providing a satellite broadcast of the FAN3 television channel, dedicated to hospitalised children. This initiative forms part of the Foundation's Humanising Children's Hospital Program.
