Amsterdam, the Netherlands, September 17, 2021--IBC welcomed the announcement from the Dutch Government relaxing COVID-19 social distancing measures and removing quarantine rules for fully vaccinated travellers. After a summer of testing safety protocols, the changes are a real boost to business confidence and mean that large-scale trade shows can once again return to The RAI in Amsterdam, including the IBC exhibition schedule for December this year.
Washington, D.C., September 15, 2021--The National Association of Broadcasters, the organizers of the annual NAB show in Las Vegas announced today that it is canceling the live event scheduled to be held from October 10-13. While the live event will no longer be held, the NAB kept open options for virtual content through NAB Amplify.

The two-part program will cover strategies for developing and fostering corporate diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) in the media industry. The symposium will take place Sunday, October 10 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Las Vegas Convention Center and is open to all NAB Show attendees
Colorado Springs. Colo., September 1, 2021--The 36th edition of the Space Symposium held at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs from August 23-26, 2021 was the first major industry event to be held live since the start of the pandemic in 2020. Organizers estimated the attendance at between 7-8,000 from 25 countries who came to see a full slate of distinguished speakers in various panels and keynotes and 200 companies exhibiting on the show floor. With the exception of everyone required to wear a mask indoors, the show was much like the shows pre-pandemic with the usual receptions and networking activities.

Geneva, Switzerland, July 1, 2021--The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) today signed an agreement with the Government of Romania for the hosting of the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2022 (PP-22) in Bucharest. ITU's supreme governing body is set to convene from 26 September to 14 October 2022 at the Palace of the Parliament in the Romanian capital.
