MILCOM Set for Oct. 29-31, to Tackle New Networking, Education and Building Opportunities

Los Angeles, Calif., August 8, 2018 — This year’s 37th edition of MILCOM, the global stage for innovation in military communications, will be held on October 29-31 at the LAX Marriott in Los Angeles, CA. This year’s conference will focus on the theme Reimagined and Reengineered - New Networking, Education and Building Opportunities.

MILCOM features outstanding technical presentations, discussions and tutorials, as well as a nearly 30,000 square foot exhibit hall. Experts in C4I and cyber issues as well as science and technology developments will lead more than 200 unclassified and restricted sessions.


Some of the speakers invited this year include — Dr. Michael J. Hirsch, president of ISEA TEK LLC, a small women-owned business focused on delivering exceptional research and development capabilities for commercial and defense; Salman M. Al-Shehri of Swansea University, UK who has over 20 years of direct hands-on experience with military; and Dr. Pavel Loskot, Senior Lecturer in System Engineering at Swansea University, UK who also has an extensive portfolio of industrial and academic collaborative projects.

This year’s conference will again gather global military communications professionals who face command, control, communications, computing, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) challenges head on. The conference allows industry the opportunity to hear and understand the requirements, pace of change and state of play in a variety of C4ISR markets serving the military, federal agencies and multinational entities.
