InterBEE 2019 Highlight New Media Innovations

Tokyo, Japan, December 15, 2019--The Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) held the 55th International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition (InterBEE2019) for three days from November 13 to 15 at Makuhari Messe Convention Center located at Chiba City, near Tokyo. Under the slogan of “Conveying the Possibilities of New Media to the World,” a record number of 1,158 companies and organizations including 632 from 37 countries and regions overseas, exhibited at 2,125 booth spaces. JEITA proudly announced that the total visitors marked 40,375.

ITU World Radiocommunication Conference Adopts New Regulatory Procedures for Non-geostationary Satellites

A Truly Fan-SAST-ic Week: The 8th CSA-IAA Conference on Advanced Space Technologies, and a Visit to SAST

Shanghai, China, September 15, 2019--Space industry conferences come in all shapes and sizes. As someone who has spent most of my career covering the commercial and government satcom industry, most of the conferences I attend are more commercial in nature—discussion tends to focus on business plans that are already in existence, or otherwise, on the horizon. This year, for the first time, I was fortunate enough to be invited to the 8th CSA-IAA Conference on Advanced Space Technologies, a conference held every two years in Shanghai, and hosted by the Chinese Society of Astronautics (CSA), the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), and the Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST).
