International Datacasting Corporation announced today that Del Lippert has resigned as a director of IDC and Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors for medical reasons, effective immediately. In addition, Georges Ata has resigned as a director of IDC in order to focus on his role as CEO of Intelcan, also effective immediately.
IDC’s Board of Directors now consists of four directors, of which Graham McBride, Peter Strom and Chris Van Staveren are independent directors, and Doug Lowther, IDC’s President and Chief Executive Officer, is a non-independent director.
Start-up satellite operator Kacific Broadband Satellite announced the appoinments of Jacques-Samuel Prolon as General Manager and Eley Querner as Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
Ross Video announced that Yevgen Khovanskyi has joined the company as Sales Director for the Russian Federation. Yevgen joins Ross Video from Riedel Communications where he worked firstly as International Sales Manager for Russia, the CIS and Baltic states before helping to establish the company’s Moscow office and taking the role of Sales Director for Russia.
Harris Corporation has named Tracey Haslam president of its Harris CapRock Communications business. She reports to Jim Morris, group president, Harris Integrated Network Solutions. The business will now be headquartered in Houston.
Lockheed Martin has appointed Lt. Gen. (Ret) Michael A. Hamel as President of Commercial Ventures, a major line of business within Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company (LMSSC). Hamel reports to Rick F. Ambrose, Executive Vice President of LMSSC.
Discovery Communications today announced that JB Perrette will become the next President of Discovery Networks International. Perrette takes over for 23-year Discovery veteran Mark Hollinger, who announced his resignation in September.
ITC Global announced today that it has named Jean-Michel Rouylou as its new Executive Vice President of Americas and Maritime Solutions. The move comes as the company expands its organization and establishes its Americas regional headquarters in Houston, Texas.
MTN Communications (MTN) announces Santos Venegas has joined the company as general manager for its Oil and Gas Division. A 35-year industry veteran and respected consultant, Santos most recently served as managing director for Latin America at Harris CapRock.
