Panasonic Avionics Corporation has appointed Chris VandenBerg as Chief Engineer (Software). In this role, Chris will be responsible for delivering the company’s highly complex, end-to-end software that redefines how airlines interact with their passengers onboard the aircraft.

Satellite operator Intelsat S.A. (OTC: INTEQ) announced today that Chief Executive Officer Stephen Spengler has decided to retire as CEO upon the company’s emergence from its financial restructuring process and the naming of a successor. Until that time, Spengler will continue as CEO and lead Intelsat through the final stages of this process, ensuring a smooth transition.

Mynaric today announced that Hans Koenigsmann was nominated to join its supervisory board. Koenigsmann was nominated by the supervisory board to replace resigning supervisory board member Gerd Gruppe, a former Executive board member of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), contingent on court approval. Mynaric wins Koenigsmann for his first advisory role outside of SpaceX where he acted in various high-profile leadership roles during a 20-year tenure.

In his new role, Dr. Petty will oversee Spire’s weather solutions worldwide, leading a powerhouse team of Spire weather scientists. Dr. Petty will be based in Boulder, CO.
