Washington, D.C., March 24, 2026--The World Teleport Association (WTA) today announced the winners of the 31st annual Teleport Awards for Excellence during an exclusive awards ceremony at SATELLITE 2026. The awards are presented each year to organizations and individuals in the teleport industry whose achievements have been deemed exceptional by the international trade association and its awards committees, made up of industry members from across the globe. The 2026 Awards Luncheon is hosted by Skyline Communications, neXat, and Calian.
The 2026 recipients are:
Independent Teleport Operator of the Year: U.S. Electrodynamics Inc. - USEI
U.S. Electrodynamics Inc. (USEI), operates teleports worldwide, including World Teleport Association Certified Tier 4 facilities in Brewster, Washington and Vernon Valley, New Jersey. Over the past year, USEI completed a major modernization of its satellite ground infrastructure, deploying a next-generation management and control platform that enables centralized monitoring, telemetry, and remote operation of antennas, RF systems, and network assets across its global sites. Beyond operations, Jessy has actively supported the growth of the New Space ecosystem, championing innovation in 5G NTN, direct-to-device, and optical communications, and elevating the industry’s visibility through high-profile events and engagement with policymakers. A frequent speaker at leading international forums, she continues to strengthen collaboration between the telecom and space sectors while promoting excellence across the global teleport industry.
