WTA Names Orange's Jessy Asmar 2026 Teleport Executive of the Year

New York City, March 9, 2026--The World Teleport Association today named Jessy Asmar, Satellite Factory Director, Orange Wholesale, as the 2026 Teleport Executive of the Year in recognition of her strategic leadership and operational excellence in advancing satellite-enabled connectivity. Beyond operations, Jessy has actively supported the growth of the New Space ecosystem, championing innovation in 5G NTN, direct-to-device, and optical communications, and elevating the industry’s visibility through high-profile events and engagement with policymakers. A frequent speaker at leading international forums, she continues to strengthen collaboration between the telecom and space sectors while promoting excellence across the global teleport industry.

The award will be presented at the 2026 Teleport Awards for Excellence Luncheon on March 24 during the SATELLITE 2026 conference in Washington, DC. The Teleport Executive of the Year award is presented to an individual for demonstrated entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation in the development or operation of a teleport-based business.
