
Madrid, Spain, June 3, 2026--GMV has appointed Ricardo Sáenz Amandi as Defense and Security General Manager. Previously Defense and Security Programs Manager, Sáenz Amandi brings 30 years of in-sectorexperience at GMV. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in overseeing the division’s flagship programs and cultivating relationships with clients and institutions in Spain and internationally.
Ricardo Sáenz Amandi succeeds Manuel Pérez Cortés, who is stepping down from the position after more than four decades of decisive contributions to GMV’s development. However, Pérez Cortés will remain associated with the company as an advisor, continuing to share his experience and expertise to ensure continuity in the division’s strategic roadmap.
This appointment is aligned with GMV’s long-term strategy and comes at a time when the volving geopolitical landscape is placing defense and security higher than ever on the strategic agenda.
