Myriota Appoints Richard Leon as Chief Financial Officer

August 6, 2026, Adelaide, Australia--Satellite IoT technology provider Myriota today announced the appointment of Richard Leon as Chief Financial Officer. A highly accomplished public markets CFO, Richard joins Myriota following a career leading technology companies through major growth milestones, including global expansion, strategic acquisitions and successful capital raises. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Altium Limited, returning to the company after serving as its CFO from 2008 to 2016. He played a central role in Altium's landmark A$9.1 billion acquisition by Renesas Electronics and led a capital raise totalling A$45 million.

Between those appointments, Richard was Chief Financial Officer at Infomedia Ltd from 2016 to 2021, where he led an A$85 million raise and delivered a fourfold increase in Infomedia's share price during his tenure.
