ABS announced new appointments and changes of its executive management team to reflect its transition into the next phase of company growth and its ongoing commitment to customer service. These leadership changes include the following appointments and promotions:

Tedial, the independent MAM technology solutions specialist, has named Antonio Robles as Operations Director, effective immediately. He will lead the company’s project design and implementation teams as well as the support team. He brings with him almost 20 years of experience in the audiovisual industry.

Philippe Oliva has been appointed as executive vice president of sales and products as of September 3, 2018. He will report to Michel Azibert, deputy CEO and chief commercial & development officer, with a view to succeeding him as commercial director during the course of 2019. Michel Azibert will continue to serve as deputy CEO.

Globecast has named Gerry McAree as VP of Sales, East Region, effective August 27. In his new role, McAree will lead the sales efforts on the east coast to promote an innovative, fresh approach to client relationships and further drive Globecast’s revenue and growth priorities in the US.

The Global VSAT Forum (GVF) announced today the appointment of David Meltzer to serve as its Secretary General effective 27 August 2018. Meltzer brings over twenty five years of experience in the satellite industry, including serving as a board member for both a regional satellite operator and for a mobile satellite operator.

Seir is a marketing, sales and strategic planning specialist with over a decade of experience working in leading international telecommunications, internet service providers and digital technology companies.

Southwest Microwave, Inc. has appointed Michelle Roe as President. She succeeds Richard McCormick, who has transitioned to Chairman and CEO.

XipLink announced today that Edson Meira of Sao Paulo Brazil has joined the XipLink team as the lead executive in Latin America. Aerojet Rocketdyne announced today that Jim Maser will join the company on Aug. 13 as senior vice president of the Space Business Unit, reporting directly to CEO and President Eileen Drake.
