But, although a hit at Christmas, operators like Amazon Prime, Hulu and Netflix will lose many of their festive gains, with 45% of subscribers planning to cancel their subscriptions immediately or within six months.
Parks Associates research finds that by mid-2015, more Samsung 4K TV sets were sold than any other brand. Samsung accounted for 28% of 4K TV purchases made within the last 12 months to U.S. broadband households. Best Buy was the leading retailer, capturing more than 40% of 4K TV purchases. Parks Associates today announced results for its landmark consumer research project Connected Consumer in Europe, which surveyed broadband households in the U.K., Germany, Spain, and France to track adoption and future purchase plans of IoT, smart home, and connected entertainment solutions.
